Beetiful Morning Beet Orange Carrot Fresh Juice – It’s time to dust off your juicer banished to the back of your kitchen cupboard and start using it again!

Since it’s beet season, I decided to make it the star of this juice. When you buy a bunch of beets with the greens – that’s an extra boost of nutrition. The combination of beets, carrots and oranges is delicious.

“Let juice be thy medicine and medicine be thy juice.” – Hippocrates

Here’s the Beetiful Morning Beet Orange Carrot Fresh Juice:

  • Servings: 1
  • Time: 5 mins
  • Difficulty: easy

Ingredients

  • 1 medium beet with greens
  • 2 peeled oranges
  • 1 handful of carrots (3 or 4)

Directions

  1. Juice the fruit and vegetables through a juicer.

Tips:

1) Chop up the beet before adding to the juicer. The density of the beet without being chopped will make some juicers jump.
2) A juicer is an investment in your health.  You can find the juicer I use here: Jack Lalanne Power Juicer.

Reasons why your body will love this juice:

Beets may help you lower blood pressure, decrease inflammation, and helps boost your stamina. They are also loaded with Vitamin C and potassium and manganese.

Oranges are not just tasty, but they also help prevent kidney disease, lower cholesterol and alkalize the body. They are full of beta-carotene and Vitamin C.

Carrots helps slow down the aging of cells (who doesn’t love that?), promote healthier skin and helps the body flush toxins from it. It is also loaded with Vitamin A, which helps your eyesight.

Juicing is one of the most wonderful things you can do for yourself. It’s easy and once you get in the habit you will crave freshly juiced fruits and vegetables every day.

Sounds yummy! I also love beet juice! I’m exactly the same when it comes to juicing. I think because it is so much work to make and then clean the juicer. I always juice more in the warmer months too because my body craves it more.

      Hi Tina!

Yes, it’s my new favorite juice. Maybe because I have so many beets right now! 🙂 It is work to clean the juicer – now I just clean it right after I use it so cleans easier and I keep it on my counter – no more putting it away and taking it back out. Thanks for the comment.

I never really liked beets, but this does look good…I bet the orange juice would help to temper the strong flavor!

      Hi Elsie!

Yes, the orange juice and carrot juice sweeten it. You don’t taste the earthy flavor of beets! Let me know how you like it!
