Brown Sugar Maple Fruit Dip is the perfect recipe for fall fruits! But why stop at fruit, when you can add graham cracker sticks, vanilla wafers and gingersnaps to the platter?
“Autumn is the mellower season, and what we lose in flowers we more than gain in fruits.” – Samuel Butler
This recipe had me at “brown sugar.” I swear if any dish has that in the title – I can’t wait to try it. This dip was no exception.
I love this season for all its abundance and cooler weather. I’m always looking for a way to use up my apples from my apple tree and this recipe fit the bill.
Grapes and apple slices would make a nice presentation, along with the dip.
All the recipes I feature are super easy to do and taste amazing. Trust me, I go through a lot of ideas before I put a recipe on the blog because I know how frustrating it is to spend money on ingredients and not like the dish.
This dip is a crowd pleaser.
Here is the Brown Sugar Maple Fruit Dip recipe:
- 8 ounce package cream cheese, softened
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons vanilla extract
- 2 teaspoons maple extract
- Assortment of items to dip like: green and red grapes, gingersnaps, apple slices, or graham cracker sticks
- Mix together the first four ingredients with an electric mixer on medium speed.
- Chill for at least one hour to allow the flavors to blend.
How about bringing along this dip for a fall picnic or a day of apple picking? Hot apple cider, turkey sandwiches and this dip with fruit would be a day filled with happy memories and happy tummies.
